Persian Ceremony

The Persian wedding ceremony, or Aghd, is a meaningful tradition that celebrates the couple’s union through symbols of love, light, and prosperity.

At the center is the Sofreh Aghd — a ceremonial spread arranged with objects that each carry a specific blessing for the couple’s life together.

Every element, from the mirror to the honey, reflects values such as clarity, sweetness, abundance, and harmony — woven into a ritual that has been passed down for generations.

Every element is interactive, click the different things to explore.

Registry

Your presence at our wedding is truly the greatest gift.
With limited space, we kindly ask not to bring physical gifts. For those who wish to contribute, we’ve made it easy for guests in the EU/UK and the U.S. to give toward the experiences below, the travels, memories, and little moments that mean the most to us.

Moving in together

Moving in together

We already spend most of our time together, on trains, in cars, and anywhere within Wi-Fi range, so moving in feels like the next logical step. Arianna’s crafts might take over the living room, and Marc’s organizing will try to fight back, but at least we’ll finally start from the same place.

Honeymoon fund

Honeymoon fund

From our proposal in New York to chasing the Northern Lights in Norway, dog sledding through Finnish Lapland, floating above Cappadocia, and kayaking the cliffs of Portugal, every adventure has shaped our story. Your gift helps us write the next chapter on our honeymoon.

Flights to visit family

Flights to visit family

From snowy cabins to windy Oregon beaches, forest hikes, and cozy weekends in Texas for family celebrations, our trips home always fill us with joy, the best home-cooked food, and plenty of love (plus a few essential stops at Chick-fil-A, Target, and Costco). Your gift helps us stay close to the people and places that mean the most.

Getting our (first) dog

Getting our (first) dog

Luna, Tommy, Zeeba, Ruz, and Luca have taught us that life is better with fur on your clothes and a tail wagging nearby. When we have the space, we’ll finally make good on our promise to give a dog a loving home, and a permanent spot on the couch.

Coffee dates

Coffee dates

Caramel macchiatos, half-shared pastries, and matching Kindles on a rainy afternoon is our version of a perfect date. Because nothing says romance like mild caffeine dependence.

The little things

The little things

Fresh flowers, lazy Sunday breakfasts, and pretending we both know how to fold a fitted sheet. All powered by a shared commitment to ignoring the laundry for just one more episode. It’s the little things (and mild procrastination) that keep the chaos functional.

The celebration continues from 10 PM, dance with us until your feet can’t take it anymore! From then on, a shuttle will be on standby to bring you safely back to your accommodation. If you’d like to head back a little earlier, just let us know, we’ll make sure you’re taken care of.
